Can’t even blame Russia for that ass whooping

Wonder who is getting scapegoated? Probably the whites, can’t piss off Hispanics too much but shocker they didn’t wanna vote for that joke of a candidate

What was the consensus on here? I’d think most thought Trump a fav but didn’t think it would be over by 7pm on the west coast

Sure some libs thought Harris would win as politics brings that bias out in people.

Think everyone thought Trump would win , but a lot were skeptical because of 2020 results/alleged cheating

I didn’t think it would be that easy though. This was more like Obama 2012 than Trump 2016

I personally thought it was over when Kamala became the candidate. Just really not appealing at all. First time in my voting career I didn’t go for a major party candidate

Nice to see you around. Could’ve used some sports commentary in the main forum from you these past several months

In terms of speaking, Kamala definitely worst candidate probably ever. Talk about a word salad machine. She made Biden seem sharp.

I doubt we see much of her ever again though. I don't even think things like speaking appearances are gonna be on the table for her. She should've never been put in that position though. That being said, Trump smashed by so much that even the idea that if they were allowed to run a primary that the results would be different seems like a reach now. If she lost close, you could probably say someone that actually won a primary would've had a better shot.

But if you were gonna vote for Biden, why wouldn't you vote for Kamala? Aren't they basically the same person once we're talking in terms of governance?

Can't complain. I didn't really follow the election too much.

Kinda surprised how thorough a defeat it was. Think the overarching theme is just on every level, almost every demographic people were somewhat tired of the woke stuff, the border, inflation, the crime stuff. Which has started to recede over the last few years imo.

Hard to predict the future but maybe Dems get back to being a little more moderate on some issues. Time will tell.

I would have voted for Biden if he was cognitively still with us and didn’t vote for Kamala in the end

I don’t really know what Kamala is in terms of governance. She has seemed very absent during Biden’s entire presidency. Like oddly quiet, which is so weird when you consider Biden’s health decline and the clear need for some rejuvenation.

She seemed to take some odd stances on Israel/Palestine, seemed to take too many stances on non-essential woke stuff, and seemed really not interested in talking about immigration.

Biden (when healthy) was at least more reasonable on those things. He also seemed more transparent in general. Kamala just babbles on and on
